MY STORY ~ ANNE-MAREE CAPRI
From Brisbane nightclubs to international catwalks and now to Disco Chicks my life has always revolved around music, people, and creating unforgettable moments.
I started out as a Door Hostess at Brisbane’s legendary nightclubs Images and New York, New York — because I just had to be close to the dance floor, and the buzz of the crowd! That passion carried me into a modelling career that spanned nearly 15 years across Sydney, London and Paris.
Along the way, I mixed with the rich and famous (yes, I even turned down dates from a few Hollywood names — but that’s a story for another time 😉). What mattered most were the connections, the energy, and the magic of bringing people together.
Back in Brisbane, I channelled my creative flair into running Anne Capri Image, working as a Brow & Makeup Artist, and Image & Colour Consultant. Those years taught me the art of making people feel confident, seen, and celebrated.
Today, I’ve come full circle with Disco Chicks — vibrant, inclusive events designed for *women of all ages to let their hair down, reconnect with friends, and dance like nobody’s watching. It’s not just about the music (though we’ve got the best beats from the ’70s to today!) — it’s about creating a safe, uplifting space where fun, freedom, and connection rule.

Disco Chicks is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable space for *Women to dance, sing and have fun and still be in bed by 10.30pm!
Our events feature the best music from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's to today. Whether you're looking for a girl's night out away from the male gaze with your best gal pals or hoping to make some new friends, Disco Chicks is the place to be.

Who is welcome at Disco Chicks Events?
DISCO CHICKS is your safe space and we welcome *Women of all ages from 18 and upwards. *and those who identify as female.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, whatever you want! From Sneakers to Stilettos & Shorts to Sequins, dress in whatever makes you happy. However, we suggest cool, comfortable clothing and footwear, and a cross-body bag to leave your hands free.
What kind of music will be played?
You’ll enjoy dancing and singing along to the best hits from the
70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s to today.
What is the event format?
6:00pm – 6:30pm
Arrivals, Scan tickets, Glass of Sparkling tokens, and Dancing!
7:00pm

Is there an age limit?
Because DISCO CHICKS is held at licensed venues the minimum age is 18 but otherwise it’s for every age group. Bring your Mum, your Aunt and your Gran; there will be songs for everyone to enjoy!
Is there accessibility for people with physical disabilities?
Please consult the venue’s website for accessibility information.
Is there support at the venue?
Venue staff will handle any venue-specific support.
TICKETS
Do I have to bring my ticket?
Yes. Please have your ticket ready to be scanned, either on your phone or printed out. If you purchased tickets for a group please either arrive together or send a copy of ticket with QR barcode to each friend for individual scanning.
I’ve lost my ticket, what do I do?
Oztix is proudly Australian owned and operated since 2003. Oztix does not store your credit card details. The ticketing platform will send you tickets and all other relevant information via email or SMS depending on what you selected. Please check your Junk, Spam and all other Email Folders. You can display the ticket QR barcode on your mobile phone/device when checking in to the venue. Please make sure you have turned up the brightness on your display.

Do you offer refunds?
No. Tickets are non-refundable. (See below)
Can I transfer or resell my ticket?
If you are unable to attend, and let’s face it, stuff happens, you are welcome to giveaway your ticket to a girlfriend or alternatively, sell it safely online. Please use a trusted site like TIXEL which is Oztix preferred buy/sell partner.

Can I buy a ticket at the door on the night?
No. All tickets must be purchased online prior to the event start.

FOOD & DRINK
Will food be available?
There is no catering so please eat prior to the event. Alternatively, there is dining available at the venue until 8:30pm. Please view their website for details: https://www.westsidehq.org.au
What about drinks?
There’s a bar at the venue where you will find friendly staff to make your cocktails and other drinks.
Don’t drink alcohol?
Free tap water will be available at various H20 stations.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Will the event be photographed and filmed?
This event may be professionally filmed and photographed. By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you are giving your consent to be filmed and photographed. These may be used to communicate DISCO CHICKS.
Can I view the professional photography from event?
Yes, these will be shared via the website, and via email.
Is personal photography permitted?
Yes, but please be considerate of your fellow Disco Chicks.

We will let you know as per each Venue.
